My first tweet from Twitter a long while. Still need more than 256 characters. The beauty of the English language is being harmed by far too much brevity. We need to complete our thoughts and if necessary edit them not adhere to some programers whim about how long that is.
further to my complaint/comment about organizations and business answering with just "hello", answering machines also seem to be totally anonymous as well "this person is not available at this time...." what... https://t.co/cTLv2mpuG7
Another point of order, rushing through your greeting recorded or live is horrible at the listening end of it. 2 or 3 or even 5 seconds more to slow down isn't a time saver. It just confuses.
Small point of order. If you run a small business "hello" is a friendly way to answer your phone, BUT is hardly professional. Your first name on your VMail isn't optimal either. People want to know they called you and not someone else.
